Center for Cancer Systems Biology at MSKCC’s 4th Annual Symposium on
Systems Biology of Cancer Therapeutics
October 27-28, 2014
Zuckerman Research Center - Auditorium
Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY

Systems Biology of Cancer Therapeutics
A critical issue in cancer research today is how heterogeneity—within a population of tumor cells, between cancer cells and the host microenvironment and immune response, and between patients—influences tumor progression and response to therapy. This symposium will explore new approaches and opportunities for developing more personalized cancer therapeutics from a systems perspective. A specific focus will be on modeling the immune response, in the context of tumors and response to therapy. Our goal is to bring together a multidisciplinary group of investigators who apply diverse methods from bioengineering, mathematical modeling, computational biology, immunology and clinical research to probe these complex problems.
